channel street

san pedro had just finished channel street under the bridge. place was rad and if my memory is still ok, that was the day matt and i decided we should start surfing again and skate more walls and vert. thats not how we got there though, we jumped in the skyhawk and drove out to long beach to skate belmont shores. thats where we intended to be but we got booted by the cops before we could even push around the place. so we skated the boardwalk taking double exposures on the flats, then we got all caught up in the excitement out on the ferry boat island roller coaster. fingerprintz, record store is over there in the area on pch, dudes from she comes in colours work there and do all the vinyl buying, you can imagine some fo the stacks they got there. so we took the big bridge over san pedro home and it reminded us of what was going on at channel street. directions from the little skate goons took us til sundown to find the park. killed some local submarine sandwiches called 'torpedos' and shredded a few hours after sundown.
